Shelley Rinehart serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Instructional and Support Program Efficacy at San Jacinto College. She provides executive leadership across the college to align and streamline programs, funding, and connecting students to resources and employers. Current projects include reskilling, upskilling and accelerating efforts between non-credit and credit programs, competency-based education, educational pathways for paraprofessionals, and building and connecting industry partnerships and student internships. She has been with San Jacinto College for 24 years and has served in various roles throughout the college in student services, advising, career services, disability services, counseling, and veteran services. She holds a master's degree in behavioral science with a focus on Industrial / Organizational Psychology and a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on early childhood from the University of Houston Clear Lake, as well as an associate’s degree in social sciences from San Jacinto College. |
